Don’t Overdo Your PCOS Exercise

Regular exercise is, of course, one of the best things you can do to lose weight or control it more effectively to boost better management of your PCOS symptoms.

But overdoing your workouts can actually have the opposite effect by weakening your immune system, straining your joints and tiring you out.

Muscles need time to prepare themselves to be efficient again during your next session. And tiredness means you’ll actually burn fewer calories than if you were exercising correctly.

So schedule at least one day off a week and on other days alter your routine, say, by doing arm weights one day and leg moves the next to avoid overusing one particular set of muscles.

Be sure to keep your back straight and avoid leaning on the handles of cardio equipment to prevent injury and maximize calorie burn.
