Carrying Too Much PCOS-Linked Weight Can Lead to An Early Grave

Woman  who carry too much weight as a result of PCOS risk losing years off their lives, according to a new study.

Carrying 50-60 pounds above a healthy weight level can cost at least three years of life span, warn researchers.

But those who are extremely overweight could lose ten years, say scientists at Oxford University in England, who assessed the impact of obesity by analyzing data from 57 separate studies.

They found a clear link between high body mass index (BMI) scores and an early grave. Using BMI gives a good measure of how overweight a person is because it compares weight to height. And it enables scientists to estimate how much excess weight could be dangerous compared with an ‘ideal’ weight.

The chances of living longer are greatly improved by losing weight from a balanced, nutritious diet and regular exercise. Not only does losing weight make you feel better. You’ll love your new look, too.
