When it comes to achieving better management of your PCOS symptoms via regular exercise, investing in a dog may be more effective than a gym membership. You could also find it to be more of a fun way to stay fit.
A new survey has made some suprising discoveries about the health advantages of owning a dog.
For example, the average dog owner was found to walk a dog for less than 30 minutes twice daily and then longer three times a week. That added up to more than eight hours of physical activity a week, compared to the average gym-goer, who works out less than two hours a week.
