It’s great to meet up with you today.

You’re probably a bit shocked that I’m going to tell you to forget about your weight, right?

If you’re like me who was constantly struggling with weight, I sure hope this comes as a relief.

No matter how large you feel right now, I’m here to tell you not to EVER worry about your weight again.

Weight all by itself is not a problem. It’s a symptom of a problem.

Your problem is metabolic. It’s in hibernation mode (store, store, store) like a bear during winter, and your job is to get it out of hibernation.

Not lose weight.

It’s so frustrating because that’s all we ever hear from our doctors, family members, online communities, and most of all, from ourselves.

Want a baby? Lose weight. Blood sugar too high? Lose weight. Not having a regular period? Lose weight. Not ovulating? Lose weight.

For some of us, we’re born chubby and stay that way. Some of us are born chubby and then get thinner as we age, and some of us are born a more normal weight and then all of a sudden gain a ton of weight.

Whatever your scenario, let go. Just for right now.

Instead focus on taking care of yourself. Really good care of yourself.
