PCOS and Fatigue
Of all the symptoms of PCOS, fatigue is one of the worst. It drains us of our vital life energy, leaving us sluggish, unmotivated and unable to enjoy life. Fatigue creates a huge obstacle to recovering from symptoms of PCOS. We can’t do the very things we need to heal because we’re just too tired.
And you may feel wired too. I call it the tired and wired feeling. Exhausted and a bit anxious. That’s the worst. Like you, I suffer from hormone imbalance and know all too well its vast array of symptoms and their terrible consequences.
For me energy is the #1 MOST important thing for my well being. If I’m tired, I get mad because I can’t do the things I love. So not only do I not have the energy, but I’m also not motivated to I can’t contribute in a way that serves me. I can’t even take care of myself! I feel like I’m letting myself down, AND my partner, my community, my clients, and my family.
My moods are low so I’m grumpy and then I might get anxious too which makes my mind race with the sabotaging thoughts. Yes, all the bad stuff that makes life terrible.
So what can we do to get our energy back so that life feels good again?
