Today I want to share some secrets about why drinking water is so important for PCOS. Water is essential for our survival. In fact we can only live about 3 days without it… and water influences about 100% of our bodies processes….Are you drinking enough water?… Here are a few cool facts…
- Water can aid weight loss by helping us to feel full, and it may improve our metabolism. It is a great detoxifier – have you heard the expression “the solution to pollution is dilution?”
- It aids digestion and literally can prevent constipation – at least one bowel movement a day is critical.
- Water keeps our hormones more balanced…reduces stress, and can eliminate headaches. Yes…just by drinking more water you can eliminate those nasty headaches!
- Did you know that feeling tired is one of the first signs of dehydration? Drink water to get re-energized!
The list of benefits when you drink water goes on and on, but hopefully you’re motivated now to drink more.
A good rule of thumb is to drink half your body weight in ounces of water daily.
