All this week we’ve been suggesting that the management of your PCOS symptoms as well as your general health can be greatly improved by better willpower and self-control. The latter can enable you to become disciplined enough to make the effort required to lose or control weight permanently.
Doing things that you usually don’t like to do or feel too lazy to do, such as eating a healthy diet or exercising regularly, helps to overcome subconscious resistance, trains your mind to obey you, strengthens your inner powers and creates internal strength.
Trying to attempt too many new willpower exercises when you are still a beginner might end in disappointment, however. It is better to start with a few easy exercises and then gradually increase their number and move on to bigger challenges.
Most of these exercises we’ve covered this week can be practiced anywhere and at anytime … and you don’t have to devote special times for them. They will train and develop your inner power, enabling you to use it whenever you need it. You could be amazed by how quickly you begin to feel better when you apply this new discipline to a healthy diet and regular exercise.
