Today I want to share about a super important topic: “obesogens” and “endocrine” or “hormone disruptors”. These are toxins – exotoxins – that can confuse the signaling that goes on within and between our cells. They can cause health symptoms like unexplained weight gain, infertility, acne, facial hair, mood swings, thinning hair, irregular menstrual cycles, major blood sugar imbalances, thyroid and adrenal problems, hot flashes, and fatigue, just to name a few.
Toxins are a major cause of most health problems and provide a continued source of inflammation to the body. So what can we do? In a minute I’ll share with you how to help your body get rid of the toxins to feel so much better pretty quickly…
The toxins I want you to know about today come in the form of pesticides on our food. Did you know that 70% of conventionally grown produce contain pesticide residues when tested? The USDA found a total of 178 different pesticides and pesticide breakdown products on the thousands of produce samples it analyzed. Buying organic produce is a much safer way to limit toxin exposure.
But sometimes it’s not possible to buy organic produce…That’s why it’s so important to know about the Clean 15 and the Dirty Dozen. You can download the list right here to take with you to the market. Every year the Environmental Working Group tests produce for pesticide residue. The Clean 15 is the list of conventional produce least likely to contain pesticide residues, while the Dirty Dozen contains produce with the highest loads of pesticide residues that. Avoid buying or eating anything on the Dirty Dozen list!
The next step is to learn how to help your body release toxins to reduce inflammation in the body. I’ll show you how… step-by-step in my upcoming Cleanse program to rapidly decrease body inflammation in just 3 weeks! We’ll eat a lot while supporting the body to metabolize and release toxins. It’s super easy and delicious and so simple It just takes 21 days to decrease inflammation and feel so much better. I’ll also share how to effectively wash vegetables and fruits to reduce pesticide exposure. Click on the button below to join in.
